End of Season message
June 2025

As the season comes to a close, a big thank you to all our players, families, coaches and supporters. Whether you were on the court, coaching from the sidelines or getting everyone to training each week – thanks for all your efforts.

Good luck to our teams heading into finals – Cyclones, Cobras, Leopards, Queens and Opals. We’re proud of you and will be cheering you on!

A special mention to the U9s Kookaburras, who aren’t in finals this time but have had a great season – well done team!

​

On behalf of the committee we wish you all an enjoyable winter break. And to the players and families who are moving on – thank you for being part of the club. To those who’ve joined us this season – welcome.

​

It’s great to see the next generation coming through, with eight new kids starting Net Set Go – coached by current player Maddie Salmon. We love seeing young people stepping into coaching roles. Way to go Maddie!

​

If any older players or other family members are keen to coach, lend a hand, or join the committee next season, we’d love to hear from you – please send us an email.

We’ve also started building a new club website: kingsvillenetball.com. It’s a work in progress, but we hope it becomes a useful hub for news and info. If you have ideas for what you’d like to see on it, let us know.

​

Save the date: our end-of-season presentation and Annual General Meeting will be held at the Yarraville Lacrosse Club on Sunday 27 July at 2pm. We’d love to see you there!
